China CNC system and CNC machine tools to achieve common development and common progress

Chen Jihong, chairman of CNC system branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association, introduced that there are three modes of developing CNC system industry in the world. A SIEMENS model: CNC system factory specializing in the production of various specifications, provide a variety of standard modules, providing the bulk of supporting for the world's host plant; the other is Haas mode: host plant independent development of CNC system, CNC machine tools and supporting sales and production. These two patterns have many advantages, but they also have very big disadvantages. The third model is the marzak mode: host plant to provide development platform in the factory system, development of independent brands of CNC system, and supporting sales of CNC machine tool production. This model not only avoids the shortcomings of "SIEMENS model" and "Haas model", but also carries forward its advantages. This makes the special control host plant's requirement, processing and use of special requirements can be easily integrated into the CNC system; host plant with less investment, formed its own characteristics, intellectual property and technology of CNC system products; promotion of numerical control system of host plant independent brands, but also can further strengthen the host plant the machine tool brand, increase user loyalty to the host plant; reduce host plant procurement cost of CNC system; and promote the development of the CNC system industry.
Chen Jihong said, in order to solve the Chinese with foreign high-end CNC system to realize China gap, CNC system and CNC machine tool common development and common progress, first of all, to benefit as a link, Chinese integration technology and human resources, focus on national financial support for the establishment of domestic CNC system software, hardware and common technology platform to establish technology; research and development management mechanism, build a software quality management system (CMM). Secondly, we should increase the support of independent research and development of high-end CNC system and digital AC servo drive technology. The organization Chinese CNC system specification and protocol structure of enterprise to establish the standard system of CNC system of the next generation, the formation of China CNC system of national standards, to solve the bottleneck problem of Industrial CNC system in China from a strategic perspective. Third, increase efforts to support the development of the core technology of CNC system industry such as: dynamic performance evaluation technology of CNC system; CNC system reliability testing and upgrading technology; NC system, servo drives, servo motor series products development; scale production technology and quality control technology.
Along with the rapid economic development of Chinese, automobile, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, aerospace and other industries will provide a huge demand for Chinese machine tool industry. It is expected that by 2015, the demand of NC system of NC machine tool Chinese required will reach more than 400 thousand sets (by supporting the NC system does not contain imported machine tools), which accounted for the high-end market demand is expected at around 60%, the CNC system will be more than 9 billion 200 million yuan. According to the latest "high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment" of major national science and technology projects, to 2020, China will achieve the main varieties of high-end CNC machine tools based on the domestic high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment 80%, automotive, aerospace, ship power equipment manufacturing to achieve localization in high-end CNC; machine tool with domestic CNC system market share of more than 60%; CNC system market share from the current 1% to 20%.
